Embedded Sacrificial Anode

Rustaway

Embedded Sacrificial Anode

  • Exhibits a negative open circuit potential, maintaining a minimum of -1100mv (Vs saturated calomel electrode).
  • Features a highly alkaline, active mortar with a pH of at least 14.
  • Possesses low resistivity, with coated mortar resistivity under 100Ω.m.
  • Offers a prolonged service life, guaranteed to be no less than 10 years.
  • Demonstrates high activity, with a short induction period for anode activation, ensuring stable potential and current output, and maintaining an active state throughout operation.
  • Ensures safety and reliability, as corrosion products are uniformly distributed in the high-activity mortar, preventing expansion stress on the structure being protected.
  • Allows for straightforward installation, with the anode’s steel wires at both ends easily attachable to the reinforcement being protected.

Applications:

The anodes are used to extend the service life of reinforced concrete structures under wet, dry, or alternate environments which includes:

  • Bridges
  • Port Terminals
  • Base Platform of Wind Turbines
  • Fences & Concrete Structures close to the shorelines
  • Prepressed Concrete Structures
  • Other Concrete Structures
